<p>I'm not allowed to watch this show because it promotes rumors and gossip which hurts other people's feelings. It doesn't have the best morals. Do you watch intervention or Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels, I'm allowed to watch those though</p>

<p>Well... not that far... but it still is an atrocious show... I always assumed American TV shows couldn't stoop that low about false depictions on Ivy League colleges as Asian shows do....... I was truly mistaken...</p>
<p>I would hate to meet any single one of them at New Haven...</p>
<p>I felt that it was extremely exaggerated as well, but then again TV shows are supposed to be really outrageous for fun.
I doubt think people would act so trashy and catty to get accepted into Ivy League, but Gossip Girl is providing us suspension of disbelief.
I hope it did not skew anyone's perception of prestigious college admissions. O_O</p>
<p>How are Asian shows when it comes to depicting Ivy League? The only one I saw was the Korean drama, Love Story In Harvard which was filmed in UCLA and USC. It was okay despite the atrocious English of the actors. I only saw the first two episodes, so I can't really say much.</p>

<p>...Um, it was pretty obvious that she said that with sarcasm. You could tell hints of her insecurity were there.</p>
<p>I immediately thought of CC when she said "How can I get into Yale with a B - my life is over!"</p>
<p>Yeah, that was an entertaining episode.</p>
<p>I thought it was a really great dig at students who are like "OMG, ONLY a 2380! How in the world will Yale accept me now?! I won't even bother applying! Ahhh- community college..." and Blair's voice practically dripped with sarcasm- I think she did it really well.</p>
<p>I watch gossip girl only for Blair- she's simply fabulous.</p>
<p>I watch for Chuck Bass, the ultimate badass.</p>
