<p>Right, but check to see what your school sends. Your report card and midyear report could be very different - we do a quarter system, and on my report card I saw grades for both quarters and then a column with midterm grades. However, when I talked to my guidance counselor, she said on midyear reports they were averaging our first and second quarter grades as one semester grade and not factoring midterm grades anywhere.</p>
<p>Check with your guidance counselors, you might have gotten lucky.</p>

<p>I think you'll find that the case- they usually only see the semester grade.</p>
<p>What if you get wait listed? Last year wait list activity went well into the summer and many are anticipating that will happen even more this year because of the economy. Keep up the grades kids!</p>

<p>At sons school they send the 2nd semester report card as the mid year report which shows first and 2nd semester grades AND mid-term grades. You need to check with your guidance office.</p>
