I seriously got a 1370 PSAT as a sophomore. I'm looking for the best book other than the College Board blue book, which I already have. Any suggestions?

The College Board book is definitely the best in my opinion since it is made by the people who made the test. Outside of that, Barron’s is pretty good, but I would definitely recommend college board over it. I got a 2150 on the SAT and (with the light studying I did) used the College Board book.

@Smithg1227 Thanks for the recommendation. I already have the blue book and I’ve been using it. I didn’t realize that I already had everything I needed. Thanks again

I used the collegeboard book too got 1510 PSAT! With little studying :’)

Do you mean 137 PSAT? Anyway, I recommend the blue book and just reading whatever you love. I realized reading my science textbooks really helped me spot “big ideas,” but it really depends on you. My method could help just as much with writing and little details, so it’s really developing a strategy that works for YOU, which you’ll probably start realizing once you take practice test (from the Blue Book). I jumped from a 187 PSAT to a 228 PSAT (sophomore to junior year).

Like Newdle I had a massive score jump (171->222). I did a ridiculous variety of test prep. I did not use the official “Blue book”.

Barron’s has the best tests out of everything. There are occasionally mistakes but the rest of the quality makes up for it. The actual instruction is just vile though.
Princeton review is a good from-the-basics book to teach everything, but the test aren’t as great.
Gruber’s is insane. The tests are ridiculous and the instruction is impossible. I would highly recommend it if you plan on spending a long time learning and prepping, but as a weekend before the test book, don’t use it. I think I got a 150 the day before the real test with Gruber’s.

I recommend finding used ones for cheap. For your initial studying, use princeton review. for getting used to the pressure, use barrons. for real improvement, look over your missed questions from this year.
