Got a 1470 on practice SAT. . .I need some help

Math 270-310
Writing 570-610
Critical Reading 460-500
Essay 10

I did better than what I usually do in critical reading and writing, however my math score drastically dropped. I practice everyday, but when I took the practice exam I barely saw any problems I am accustomed to solving. I got like ten points and lose seventeen. What should I do to improve my math score to at least a 510? :)

Wow I can’t even get a 10 essay.

What grade are you in, because maybe you haven’t learned all the math problems.

What kind of stupid reply is this? I am asking for help and you can’t even do that. Don’t even bother to answer this thread again ******bag.

LonleyStoner, first of all, you need to purchase a good SAT book such as the Barron’s or Kaplan. Even better, purchase the College Board blue book if you’re a junior and only have a few months left. I highly suggest you read widely (novels, scientific articles, advanced level essays) and learn every single word that you are unfamiliar with. Second, try solving all the math problems and going over all of your mistakes, because that will help you a lot. And finally, know that preparing for this test takes devotion of your time…

Also, I highly suggest you sign up for the free practice tests held at Princeton Review or Kaplan centers. Those stimulate the exact testing conditions and will help you prepare A LOT for the real SAT. You can sign up for those tests on the websites of the above listed test prep institutions.

p.s:I took 2 tests from Princeton Review and 1 from Kaplan. They do help!

Good Luck!! :)

Who scored your essay?

by the way your comment a few posts ago was very rude. The other poster simply asked you what grade you are in and you just exploded. Please try to be nicer to those trying to help you.

I complimented you on your essay, and then I simply asked what grade you are in…

Yeah, GreedIsGood is just tryna help you out. Have some respect.

I know, that was really rude. Take a chill pill.
You never know, GreedIsGood may have just asked you what your grade level was to help you better prepare for the SAT.

sheesh, people these days.

Some of you guess are writing responses that make it seem like you know who I am. Are you guys Physic or Paranoid?

They don’t know who you are, and I’m pretty sure none of the comments above suggest that. Here’s a tip: if you actually want help with your scores, then don’t insult the people trying to help you.

Trollin’ trollin’ trollin’

^nah i checked the persons recent posts, looks legit to me.

^agreed, also you should pick up a guide to good manners

I hate to say it, but you sound like a complete loser, lonely. You’ve responded twice, once freaking out about absolutely nothing and another making no sense whatsoever.

By the way, cool user name bro, I bet you do get stoned alone. I can’t imagine anyone being friends with you. Either you’re on drugs right now or you have some kind social disability.

Get both the SAT books by the collegeboard.
THat’s like 18 practice tests right there.
Do all of them, and your score should go upppppp
