Got a 3.06 on my first seamster.

Should I not be worry? I'm planning on transfering to Penn state University and major in math and Meteorology . My goal is to reach linear algebra then transfer to penn state. I'm only six classes away right now I'm going to start college and trig in the spring

I got one C and that was intro to sociology.

If you take 18 credits, and get all A’s, that should land you around a 3.5 GPA. Are you comfortable with that score? And can you pull off all A’s next semester? Is retaking Sociology even an option for raising your GPA? Some schools won’t let you, others will. 3.5 GPA sounds pretty good to me. 3.0? ehh, it might be okay, it might not, its not horrible, but not excellent either, KWIM?

I don’t know if I can handle that. I try my best. I’m taking biology and trig next semester, and other general ed

Retaking sociology to replace a C would be a bit silly. If you do well next semester, you can raise your GPA a decent amount.

How many total credits did you have this semester?

I had 15 credits. I’m taking 14 in the spring

If you managed to get a 4.0 next semester, that would bring your GPA up to about 3.51.
