I'm applying to transfer into the other UC's and USC from a mid-level UC for Econ. The rest of my classes were completed with A's or A-'s, including Microecon (A) and Macroecon (A+).

I followed up the quarter that I got a C+ in with a quarter where I received all A+'s for a cumulative GPA of 3.79 as of now. I can't round up either because its a 3.7909. Isn't that somethin'?

-Internship this summer w/ Econ company which offered me a part-time job during the school year
-director of public relations of biz club
-member of leadership club
-member of marketing association
-volunteer for undergrad admissions
-IM sports (haha), I'm also a DJ (but my high school counselor told me that doesn't count as an EC)

-Dean's list for the other 2 quarters besides the stupid C+ quarter
-Undergrad admissions certificate of appreciation
-accepted to honor's program
-AP Scholar (if that counts for anything)

Basically, should I even bother applying? I did so poorly academically and my EC's suck. In all honesty, I just want to apply because I like filling in my information into online forms (as long as I know it's secure). Thanks!

um...you will do fine. I had a 3.78 and a C in Physics I and got in UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCSB, UCD in Electrical Engineering...plus I only had two ECs...

Don't bother applying? Seriously?
You can't give up that easily, give them a reason why you had that C quarter and prove to them with your current work that it was an aberration.

A C+ is certainly not the greatest thing in the world, but with all those other As, and still having a 3.79, you're still in great posistion. Schools out there like seeing 4.0's but would much rather have transcript-blemished students with lots of depth and personality.
