^ Or we could send official Score Reports to any incredulous posters. What’s your school code, OP? Can I use Score Choice?

There

^this guy is a SAT legend

^ I think I got that. Sent it in for a rescore. Fingers crossed.

Hi, Jordan

Igi - you rock.

Here’s my rant:

Given that most people on this forum are fairly literate compared to, say, my facebook feed, I doubt a lot of us are lying (except on this thread where it’s either painfully obvious or obviously joking). You can just tell by the way they obsess over grades and AP classes and everything. They know the SAT-to-ACT score conversion table by heart, how many multiple choice questions one needs to have gotten right to get a certain score on a certain exam. Either way, we offer genuine tips and advice for test help, not just on the SAT but on AP tests and the ACT. (You’ve apparently been here since last July too, so hopefully you’ve lurked enough to know.) Some of the best advice I’ve gotten off of this forum came from people who claimed to have gotten extremely high scores on their SAT I. I’ve never felt the need for people here to prove themselves to me; I felt the opposite, actually.

A lot of people new to this forum, even if they don’t think we’re lying braggarts, think we’re braggarts. Which would be further implied by our posting of scores.

A way to verify a screencap: view the full score report for a high, but imperfect, SAT score that notes how many were missed in each section. All those numbers are pretty hard to photoshop just right, and if one were to fake that, one would have to do the math and figure out the curves.

Yeah it’s really easy to change text right on the page w/ a simple Javascript code. I can assure you that I got a 2160 (800 M, 760 W, 600 CR)

Here’s another shot for the doubters :

You can check the image meta-data. Taken with my crappy iPhone 3G camera, 7 minutes ago, which doesn’t leave enough time to bust out any l33t photoshop skills.

@Luciferlied: why ask people to verify their scores? You know there exist those who score amazingly on the SAT, even if you don’t happen to know them personally. Does it matter whether those say they have perfect scores on an anonymous forum actually do? Besides, lying about your SAT scores on a random college admission website is totally lame. Who cares what you get on the SAT?

TurquoiseHexagon, you don’t have to prove it. If you say you have a perfect score, we’ll take your word for granted.

lol turq i dont believe u, video or didn’t happen

TurquoiseHexagon and I have talked via Personal Messaging, and I am inclined to believe him or her.

Turquoise, I can’t help but wonder what would happen if you clicked that “How to improve your scores?” link.

TurquoiseHexagon,

Why did you take it again after achieving a 2400?

Lol at the Turquoise guy. Dear god, he must have no life.

kisses TurqoiseHexagon’s feet

It’s a good fake if it is one. Otherwise…

kisses them again

His or her circumstances are unique.

I’d love to hear the circumstances.

^ PM TurquoiseHexagon to see whether he or she will generally explain the circumstances to you as well. He or she was rather general with me, and I don’t want to step on any privacy concerns without permission.

I am a college graduate. I help other people achieve their best on the SAT. Taking the test frequently is a good way to keep the proverbial knife sharp. After I got the first 2400, I asked myself: lucky fluke, or can you do it again?

Plus, I’m still hunting for a “true perfect” - 12 essay + every question correct. These three listed exams were (0 M / -1 CR / -1 W / 12 E), (0 M / 0 CR / -1 W / 11 E), and (0 M / 0 CR / 0 W / 11 E) respectively.

Next up is an ACT in September, then I’ll go after the SAT again in October. There are stranger and more pathetic hobbies than taking standardized tests, I assure you!

So you teach SAT; that makes a lotta sense now.
