Did anyone hear from Engineering?
The College of Engineering doesn't have rolling admissions.</p>
<p>I GOT IN TO CORNELL TOO!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>I started crying and screaming like you can't imagine. I felt like one of those beauty queen pageant winners.</p>
<p>Quick stats:
Power SAT score: Math- 700
Reading- 740
Writing- 720</p>
<p>SAT II's: Math II: 610
Math I: 670
Literature: 700
Chem: 650</p>
<p>ACT: 31 (composite), each section I scored a 31, except for English where I scored a 33, and science where I scored a 30.</p>
<p>Race; Hispanic
Gender: Female</p>
<p>GPA: 3.86 unweighted, 6.6 weighted
Class rank: Top 1%</p>
<p>IB diploma candidate.</p>
<p>I applied to ilr primary and cals secondary early and got deferred. I didnt get any letters from them yet so does this mean I'm not getting in because someone said they only mail the acceptances in early and i live in nyc and if they were going to mail me something i would have already gotten in.</p>

Just because you didn't get a letter yet does NOT mean you're going to be rejected. Only the very top accepted applicants get the likely letters. The rest of us poor schleps who didn't send in 750+ SATs or 34+ ACTs have to wait until the end of the month! ;) Good luck to you and all of us waiting!</p>

<p>If you get deferred, you have to wait until March 31st to find out. Keep in mind though, that ILR only defers in the early round; it does not reject.</p>
<p>I didn't get those scores and I got into Cornell.</p>
<p>Then again, I applied to agriculture and life sciences, so maybe that influences it?</p>
<p>Wait so if you get a letter saying "congratulations on your acceptance to Cornell", is that just a likely letter like people are saying? I thought that it means youre in? I'm confused.</p>
<p>If you got an acceptance letter from CALS, Hotel or ILR....then you have been accepted!</p>
