Got a second to chance for an RD?

Hi guys! I've been reading a bunch of these threads, and they've all been so helpful so far. I'm a senior, and I was wondering if you guys could help me gauge my chances at getting into Dartmouth RD. Here are my stats:

Male
First generation Indian
UW GPA: 96/100
WGPA: 98.6/100
Class Rank: 1
School type: Private
Class size: roughly 56 kids per grade

SAT I: 2310 --> Math - 770, CR - 770, Writing 770 (this is my superscore. I've taken the SATs twice)
SAT II: Math II - 790, Physics - 790, US History - 770

ECs:
Student Council President
Math Honors Society President
Environmental Club Vice-President
Co-founder of Math tutoring program at my school
Physics tutor
Varsity Cross Country
Varsity Lacrosse (so far, 3 year starter)
Varsity Winter Track
Guitar
There are other things, but those are my main ones

AP Exams:
AP Bio - 5
AP US Hist - 5
AP English Lang. - 5
AP Calc BC - 5
AP Phys. B - 5

This year I'm taking AP Chem, AP English Lit., AP Phys. C, AP Spanish, AP Comp Sci A, teaching myself Multivariable Calc and Differential Equations, and I have gotten all A's.

Awards/Honors:
Top 10% in NJ for Science League Chemistry
National Spanish Exam -3rd on Level I and 10th on Level 4 (in New Jersey)
NJ Governor's School for Int'l Studies (I dunno if this counts that much under honors)

Essays:
I wrote about my childhood dream of wanting to be a deep-space explorer.

So what do you guys think? Please be as brutal/honest as possible. I wasted an early application by doing SCEA to Yale, but Dartmouth is my undisputed number 2. Thanks!

I hate to bump.

I think nobody commented because they are jealous of your scores. haha. Your test scores and GPA are obviously amazing, so you got that down, but of course once you hit that 2200 ranges and above, it’s the extracurriculars that really matter.

Anyways, if you could show on your app how you are not only PRESIDENT of those organizations but how you actually made a difference and were creative, etc. If you do that, I’d say your chances of acceptance are definitely in the 80% range and above

I wouldn’t be so hasty to say that you ‘wasted’ your app to Yale, unless you decided you don’t want to go there anymore. I think you’re a pretty strong candidate anywhere you apply. SAT’s, rank, APs are obviously in check. Maybe think of some stuff to beef up your EC’s a little. I think you stand a very good shot, but then again this is all just speculation.

I think the ec’s are fine. You’re president of three clubs, and on three Varsity teams. I’m sure that must be a huge time commitment, so beefing up those ec’s could be near impossible…

It seems that you should have a strong chance of getting in.

Hey thanks guys. I truly appreciate the input. Anyone else?

Another smart Jersey guy! You have great stats and as good of a chance as anyone. Are you thinking of sports in college? That would also help your application as I’m sure you know. Good luck!

Haha, I’m not good enough at any of the sports I do to play at the varsity/D-I level that Dartmouth competes in. If I get into better shape, I’ll try out for the lacrosse team. I’m most certainly participating in intramural sports if I get in/go though.

I definitely think you’ll get in, your stats are seriously impressive and I really think you’d be a good fit. Best of luck!
