I got one from Davis too. Haha

I emailed them and asked if they can notify me by May 1 because I have other college offers to consider and that’s their deadline.

If they won’t, I will probably choose a college by then.

I received one of those from Riverside and Davis. And I agree with the above poster, I don’t like how the notification is by May 11th. We all have other schools to consider by May 1st. It would be nice to know sometime soon so I could possibly plan a visit before May 1st

Here is there response I got from the email to UC Davis:

“Thank you for contacting Undergraduate Admissions at UC Davis. All of the waitlisted students have to deal with this issue, and unfortunately we will not be able to release the decisions for waitlisted students until after May 1st; therefore, you should submit your SIR to another university.”

They consider our application as “wait-list”, so that’s why it’s May 11.

@dwcs06 That’s good to know.

Add UC Merced to the list.

This is all very odd, especially considering the large number of students who were denied admission to UCSC this year with stats far above what it took to get accepted over the last 3 years. When the statistics come out this year I think everyone will be shocked. Know a number of 2100 SAT 3.7 people who used UCSC as their UC safety and were accepted nowhere

So far, I got offers from UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz and UC Riverside! Let’s see if Irvine, Davis or Riverside offers me a better scholarship than santa cruz. if they do, maybe ill let mcgill off for a year
