Got Accepted As...

a BA in econ student for january of 2007 at penn state. if i change my mind, will this be a really big deal. the reason i ask this is because i did not realize that even the BA in econ has lots of hard math in it, and im not exactly a HUGE fan of math. (study what you love, ya know?)

anyhow, im thinking of switching to something like graphic design.

im really upset that you cannot be transferred into the business school at penn state, for whatever reason, because then i would be studying finance. and although finance has some math, i would stick with it because it interests me more than economics.

just gimme some hints/advice. thanks guys, uve been good so far.

Maybe you should apply for the fall term...

If you must go to Penn State, do the prerequistes at your current school. That way, you can study what you love...BTW, finance will require much the same math as an econ degree if you decide to get an MBA. Just a warning.

Just curious, why did you apply to PSU as an econ major in hope of avoiding math??

i thought that the BA would be less math intensive. ive made up my mind to study a liberal arts (psyc or socilogy)

rightcoast, when did you receive your acceptance decision? Did you find it with the online status check? I towards the end of sept and still haven't hear from them.
Thanks.

i recieved my decision a couple weeks after i replied...in early october i got the decision
