Got accepted but have a D+ from first semester?

I got accepted to UC San Diego and I really want to attend, but I have a D+ from first semester of AP Calculus AB. I emailed the UC system immediately, and they responded by saying they added the statement to my application. However, going over my contract, they say I must have earned a C or better in A-G and any changes must be reported. Since AP Calculus is technically an elective, would that hurt my chances of being able to go? Also, I have already emailed them, so would I have to contact them again through their website link?

You need to get a final grade of C or higher in your AP Calculus course and even though it is an elective, it is still an A-G course. You have notified them of your D+ from last semester so all you can do now is get that final 2nd semester grade up to a C and you will be fine.
