Today I got accepted in UCONN but I got into the Waterbury campus because the Storrs campus (my first choice) was full.

This is the message I received:

Congratulations! On behalf of the University of Connecticut, it is our pleasure to invite you to join the incoming freshman class. Due to the rigorous requirements of the main campus in Storrs, we are unable to honor your request for immediate admission to this campus.

Does this mean that it's possible that I can be put on a wait list to get into the Storrs campus? This happened to my sister.

I don’t think it was full you got rejected from the main campus and they offered you your second choice. I dont think you will get on a waitlist more like you will have to transfer. But I may be wrong lol.

I got my UConn acceptance letter (Storrs) just like 10 days ago. I applied early action on Oct 30th and they took a long time. Man, it filled up fast.

Yeah, I think you can be placed on the waiting list because there’s bound to be a person on the fence between 2 schools and decides another school
