Got accepted to UCSD as a transfer student, but they're asking for my high school transcript.

I just got accepted to UCSD as a transfer student. I completed my IGETC and sent in my college transcript. I believe UCSD wants my high school transcript to verify that I completed American History. I took APUSH in high school and I got a C the first semester and a D the second semester. Will this affect anything? I’m getting anxious.

Did you have to report high school grades on your app. Did you misrepresent those grades in anyway?

My app did not require me to report any of my high school grades.

You will be fine. You have completed 60+ transferable college units. You are freaking out over nothing.

All UCSD cares about is that you graduated when you said that you did.

Meeting the American History requirement is what they probably are looking for.

It could be problematic in that one of the requirements said that you have to have a C or above in a US History course. However the wording also says there are other options that will satisfy the requirement such as C or above for 1/2 year of US History and 1/2 year of US Govt, or getting a 3+ on the APUSH exam or APUSG exam.

Ok thanks. I did get an A in Govt. I’m trying my best not to freak out.

They are probably checking to see if you have completed the “American History and Institutions” requirement listed in the link above. This is a graduation requirement, not an admission requirement. If you have not completed it already, you need to take one of the listed college courses.
