<p>In previous years, merit scholarship offers came in the folder with the acceptance letter.</p>

<p>I can not login to Esther since it says that login information will be sent in a separate cover. I got the student id number. But no PIN info. Did they send another email with the login info already?</p>
<p>For those of you that do see your merit award up under financial aid, is that all you see up under there? Or do you also see actual financial aid? Because I just checked, and all I could see was merit aid, which, unfortunately, isn’t gonna be enough to cover Rice for me…</p>
<p>Does anyone know if all accepted students get the Merit Scholarship? I haven’t gotten my email yet about admittance, but my fin aid stuff isnt up, it’s blank…</p>
<p>yeah i got accepted (woo! my first trip to texas will be happening soon!) but i can’t see anything under financial aid…does that mean i got nothing?</p>
<p>They sent an e-mail about the PIN when you submitted your application. You set up the PIN yourself with your ID number.</p>
<p>I logged into Ester, and it says my financial aid status is not currently available :/</p>

<p>I got a “Rice Tuition Grant”, which is probably need-based, a category into which I fall. no merit scholarships but the need-based is good enough for me so that I’d be able to afford Rice 
plus, it’s now cheaper than the UCs for me…</p>

To get to at least where I found out, go to the main menu of esther
go to office of financial aid
then scroll to the bottom and click award status
award history will show you what you’ve gotten
as will going to award by aid year and choosing 2011-2012</p>
<p>Do they also release decisions about Century Scholars with the admission decision?</p>
<p>Strange. I simply don’t have an office of financial aid tab on my esther menu</p>
