Got accepted. What about the merit scholarship?

i got mine! what a beautiful number :)

Same as KatTeeEss and alphabeta56…no “office of financial aid.”

Did those who don’t have office of financial aid listed on their pages not file a financial aid application?

Same as 808drum, KatTeeEss, and alphabeta56… where can I check if I got merit? Or does this mean I didn’t…?

Oh, and I didn’t apply for fin aid btw.

^ I’d guess that you guys would find it out in your admission letter?

Neither did I, I guess we have to wait for the letter…

haha yeah I got accepted, but under financial aid it says “No award history is available for you at this time, please contact your financial aid office if you have questions.”

Awww man… well they said they’re sending the letter on the 24th, right? So I guess I won’t find out till like Saturday… :(

No my award history just states that an award decision hasn’t been made yet. Its shows my s as accepted if you look under the admission tab but thats it. I’m thinking the news isn’t good for fin aid/merit.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted and gets money…

I also didn’t file a financial aid application…maybe that’s why?

I didn’t apply for financial aid and I don’t have the link either. When do the letters get sent?

I think the email says they’ll get sent on the 24th.

I filed a fin aid app, but it said my award status is unavailable right now

I think those of us who didn’t apply for fin aid will have to wait to get the packets (sent on the 24th). I wish there were a way to check before then, though!

Will need-based grant (not merit) be reported later or is what we see now what we get?

My financial aid is listed under awards. I don’t think I received any need-based money, but I did get one of the merit scholarships.

So if financial aid is not visible on Ester, does that mean we didn’t get a merit scholarship?

^ No, it means that you didn’t apply for financial aid haha

Are you sure?? Some people said they saw their merit aid up already.

Yeah, but as far as I know, they all applied for need-based aid.
