Also, I think that the fact that I attend a all white school has some weight at the admissions departments.

Your extracurriculars are good, so are your grades, but your test scores may hurt you, even if you're a URM...

Have you considered Tufts? they have a really strong IR program. Princeton doesn't have a specific IR major, although you can major in politics or the woodrow wilson school...

Go for it. Even if you think you have a glaring weakness, it's TOTALLY possible. My glaring weakness was a 660 on my Math II SAT (after THREE TRIES) as well as a seemingly weak course load. I'm not a URM or legacy, and I still got in without spectacular essays to make up for anything (last minute application!). Work on getting a 2100+ SAT score.

By the way, your class size is HUUUGE.

if anyone could give me 4 reach, 4 50/50 and 4 safety schools, it would be great!

peachykween did you have anything REALLY good. im in a similar situation where nothign really stands out and i ahve a few minor weaknesses, wondering if i should apply to my dream school, pton

im no expert, but i know a bit about IR programs.
Reachs:
Princeton
Georgetown SFS
Columbia
Johns Hopkins

Matches:
American University
George Washignton University

that should be a good start at least.

Andrassy thnx it really helps, does anyone know how much URM influences in the Ivies?

it helps a lot

Bumpbumpbump

because you are a URM you arne't automatically in. you'll be surprised if you think that.

how much does it weigh?

your SAT is low and your ECs are decent. apply early. i can't really find any passion.

Ditto what others have said: grades good and showing a trend of improvement, which is nice, but those test scores will bite you if you don't watch out. Raise your SATs a serious amount--as much as possible, in fact. Come up with a passion about which you can write a convincing essay. Ideally you would emphasize your cultural heritage alongside some extracurricular activity about which you are passionate. Then apply ED (it makes a huge difference), and keep your fingers crossed.

what is your unweighted GPA

I was accepted as a URM, and I did not have the best of test scores, but I had a lot of extracurriclar achievements. I know of several URM's with close to perfect test scores that ended up getting denied. It all depends on what you can bring to the school I guess.
