Got below average math 2c score

i got 660 for the math 2c test which probably means that ill never get into a decent engineering school right? Tell me what you think honestly.
i actually scored higher on the SAT I math part so what does this mean? What would the colleges think? (applying to an ivy ED)

cant retake either cause im taking SAT I in october

No you won't get into a decent engineering school unless you have other amazing things to back it up or you have 800 SATI. Maybe you should think about pursuing other majors if your math skills are lacking...

what do u mean by other amazing things? give an example please

I think he means something like designing something on your own time, like my friend does, or having an internship at an engineering place and having a portfolio of your work.

Or having something like 4.6 GPA + ranked 1, be Latino/Black/Native American, have both parents go to MIT, write and publish your own research paper, you have 800s on 4 other subjects, blah blah blah.

k im screwed

umm i kinda have a related question that probably doesnt deserve a new thread...it doesnt really help you much..sry.. but itl make u feel better.....i got a 650 on the math 2c...would that look bad for a good non-ivy, non-engineering school....like brandeis, tufts or amherst?

um in my opinion, with the schools you're talking about anything around 650 is not very good either way

It would definitely look bad.

Anything average is bad at a very above average school like Tufts or Amherst.

Why don't you take the ACT's? Some schools waive the SATII as well as SATI requirements and accept the ACT's instead. The ACT math is pretty easy so you should do fine... I got a 650 in my mathIIC and got a 29 on my ACT Math ( which I think is around 91% or something ) .. So check it out... www.act.org

you should check your ivy's website.

most accept november as the last SAT date for ED if you send them the scores directly.
