got caught by an RA

soo im new to this site and may be in the wrong section. but o was caught by an RA in my friends dorm and we were drinking. they had us give them all of our ids. this is normal i know but the thing is i dont go to that collage in fact i took off half a year. soo whats gonna happen to me ?? or has anyone gone threw something similar?

Since you’re not a student there, you can’t get in disciplinary trouble by the school, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

That’s not really true. The school can, if they choose, completely ban the OP from campus/dorms/that specific dorm/whatever they want to do. And if caught on premises, choose to arrest & charge him with trespassing.

OP - each school is different. Only time will tell if there’s a repercussion for you or not.

I’d also like to make a note that certain schools have a policy of reporting violations at other campuses to the students’ home campus.

You’re probably pretty safe, but as previously mentioned, you could get banned from building (not too likely unless it’s a repeat offense). As far as my experience goes most schools treat the first drinking offense pretty lightly. It tends to ramp up from there depending the severity of offenses.

Isn’t the usual protocal to offer some to the RA ?

im also going in the armed forces in january and want to make sure that nothing will happen

This is pretty absurd that you’re an adult who can join the military and put in harm’s way but have to face puritanical overbearing crap like this over some harmless fun. Time to lower the drinking age

The military is very concerned about serious criminal records among their recruits - but I don’t think underaged drinking would make them blink. Your recruiter is probably an alcoholic.

We need a ‘Like’ system on this site.

Were you still drunk when you posted this? Your grammar is atrocious. You’re not a student. Of course they won’t do anything to you.
