Got Caught Cheating!

Okay, today in class I got caught "cheating". I reaaaally had to cheat because I had SO MUCH going on that day, so I looked in my backpack cause it was a vocabulary test, for the list and definition... AND the teacher saw me! I WAS ABOUT TO CRY! whhhy me!? He gave me an F on my test & he made me feel bad! I went after class & lied to him, saying "I didn't cheated, I was checking my phone to see who called me" & he looked through my phone to see if there's any test answers & there wasn't. So he said he'll think about it, either give me a 0 or the grade I deserve, which is a 16/20.
Any of you guys experienced this??? IM SACRED! This was a lesson learned... Never again!

“I reaaaally had to cheat”

First thing you did wrong.

“the grade I deserve”

Second thing you did wrong. The grade you deserve is a 0. Don’t cheat.

I never cheat. I just fail and move on. I settle for the grade I deserve.

And I dont mean to sound pious or anything. I’ve been tempted to cheat many times, I was just too scared of getting caught

I KNOW I shouldn’t cheat, but I’m sure everyone has done it once before…
But the THING is… My teacher doesn’t know I “actually” cheated, I lied to him, & either he believes it or not… Ill find out next week

OH GOOD JOB! Lying is definitely the best option…

My class and I was taking a practice FRQ in gov’t, and there were these two girls cheating. THEY WERE USING THE BOOK!! (they covered it with their bookbags) Anywho, I was about the tell the teacher (lol) but someone beat me to it and he then penalized the students.
DON’T CHEAT!! And yes, you deserved a 0!!

Yes… I deserve a 0 but do you think my teacher is nice enough to let me re-take it

I understand the teachers reasoning. Even though you were lying when you tolded him that you didn’t cheated" you’re sacred.

I hope not. Be responsible. Was all that stuff that you had going on more important than your grades? I think a teacher would be more willing to let you retake it if you told him the TRUTH.

The real issue here is the fact that you cheated and didn’t get a 20/20.

Lol @ TheLottery…your post made me chuckle.

^Lmao truth

Cmon, be discreet about it. It isn’t against the rules if you don’t get caught ;)

@lottery I Knoooww! lol so now I have a better chance of him thinking that I didn’t cheat!

Why should you be rewarded for cheating? How many people get to retake the test who took it honestly? It’s disgusting. If you aren’t just trolling, your post says things about you that are so bad that they’re unredeemable. You have an entitlement complex. You believe that you deserve what you don’t deserve. You think it’s alright to cheat.

Take this philosophy into adulthood, and you’ll have an empty shell of a life, wherein you forever pretend to be someone you can’t be, until you feel so deeply unsatisfied with your life, and your hollow, false accomplishments, that you lose even the dream of contentedness. The only satisfaction in this world comes from within. You can’t steal it from others. You can’t sneak a peek into someone else’s soul when, at the end of your life, you look back and judge yourself. Parasites can only persist if they deal in a transferable currency.

Your language, your demands for “fairness,” your indignation, all suggest that this is not the first offense. They are symptomatic of a path to an abominable fate that I would wish upon no one. There will come a time when you will look at yourself and your life, and unless you’re a psychopath, you won’t be able to hide. You can’t get away with any crime; your conscience will hold you accountable. Dishonesty is not a panacea for the soul.

I hope your teacher punishes you harshly. You need to learn that what you did was indefensible. Cheating, in any way, on anything, is one of the most deeply immoral things that one can do. It is a violation of one’s honor. It shows an utter lack of integrity-- the defining moral principle of all good men, whatever the specifics of their disparate philosophies. Stop yourself before it’s too late.

If you’re going to cheat, at least get a full score.

Only cheaters say that…

To be willing to sacrifice your integrity for a B is pathetic, but no less pathetic than such a sacrifice for a perfect score.

Good job! You managed to cheat and lie about the same thing in one day! Now that’s something you should definitely be sure to include on your college apps.

I’m gonna cry now…D’:

You’ll get over it.
