University of Rochester
UCLA
UC Berkeley
UC San Diego
Swarthmore
Washington University in St. Louis
Haverford
Colby College
Whitman College
Occidental College
Pomona College

Hey, I got deferred ED also but from Princeton. It's not very fun, is it?

I can only do the ones I know enough about to rank.
Hope this helps.

UCLA - OOS? Good shot
UC Berkeley - OOS? Good shot
Swarthmore - Slight reach, but worth a try
Washington University in St. Louis - Good shot
Haverford - Good shot
Pomona College - Slight reach, but worth a try

thanks isleboy and ohh miss zhana, anyone else have any suggestions/ chances??

Might look at Bates. Also Holy Cross-very good LAC -1 hour from Boston. Holy Cross is a smaller version of Georgetown and HC is SAT optional.

I DON'T think you are a match for Berkeley, but probably a slight reach. Berkeley is wack. I have looked at the stats for people who apply to Berkeley from my school, which is a Cal feeder school, and nobody with a 2200 and 4.3 GPA and above can call Berkeley a 'safety'. You're probably a match for UCLA and UCSD could be your match/safety.

Thanks so much for your input par and sofianoori!! I really do appreciate it... anyone else?? please please please?? I'm so stressed right now, it's ridiculous... ahhhhhh

apples, sorry to hear that Williams "put you on hold." Try not to think about it for now.

For other LACs that I would consider similar to Williams you might look at Hamilton, Bowdoin, Skidmore, Kenyon. You don't have any women's schools on your list but if you're interested then Smith would be a good choice.

Your SAT1 CR score is worrisome, especially since writing seems to be your strong point. I don't know if this is doable or not, but maybe you should try taking it again and sending it in even if it's past the deadline. Something just doesn't add up there.

Did you submit an acting or dance tape? Did you send examples of your writing? Would you be able or willing to participate in varsity skiing? Have you contacted the coach?

You have a lot going for yourself so don't succumb to panic. Keep focused on what YOU want out of a college, not on where you can get in.

Good luck and let us know how you do.
