@acceptmeornot SAME. OMG. And your stats are like 5x better than mine!! glad to know i ain’t the only one!

Yea, demonstrated interest is “important” according to case cds. I didn’t show any.

Wow Im shocked you got differed. I think you are a very strong candidate. It probably comes down to demonstrated interest with Case. I would suggest with your other schools- which all seem to be ok (I mean like you have a wide spread from likely to reach) but just show interest to them- go visit, do an overnight, have an interview, stay in touch with your regional admissions dean. Good Luck!!

@runnergirl34 The Fall 2014 admit rate was 38% so Case is becoming less of a safety for everyone. I think you have a great chance at your other schools!

hey y’all!! I got into BU Honors (which only accepts like 100 people a year!), Northeastern (deans scholarship), Vassar, GA Tech, and UGA with a few others. Got waitlisted at Tufts and Vandy. but I’m probably going to have to go in-state which SUCKS because I worked so hard!! Even with schools that meet 100% demonstrated need, it still wasn’t enough to beat in-state, which is something to consider when applying to colleges—It always hurts alot when you get into your dream school but cannot afford it. good luck guys, and make sure you pick cheap schools. @par72 @prezbucky @intparent
Congratulations on the acceptances! Even if you are going to your state school, you can get a great education - just make the most of it and you will have a great experience and turn out fine. Work hard, get an internship or two (or research opps if you are into the hard sciences), and you will do well.
And remember, even if it’s tough to get a job – there is no such thing as a wasted education. Education is worthwhile per se.
