Got Deferred from NCSU Engineering, What now?

So I'm a decent student with a great math resume, and I applied to NC state engineering hoping to get in. My problem is a relatively average GPA but I have an insane upward curve in my recent years of high school to make up for freshman year and the beginning of sophomore year. I found out that I have been deferred and now I really don't know what to do. Some advice would really help! Thanks, I'll put some of my stats below.
Weighted GPA 4.2
Freshman GPA 3.6
Sophomore GPA 3.8
Junior GPA 4.9
Unweighted GPA 3.3
SAT: 800 Math
550 reading
540 writing
ACT: 30
Math classes taken: AP Stat, AP BC calc, AP AB calc, Honors Precalc, Honors Algebra 2

I applied for engineering and was also deferred. My stats are somewhat similar to yours, but definitely not that high of a math score! My Weighted GPA is 4.52 and my unweighted is 3.72. SAT = CR - 570, MATH- 590, WR- 520. My math scores are not as high as they want and I don’t think that they put much emphasis at all on the writing section. I have taken the exact same math classes as you. My grades were, AP Stats= B, AP Calc= A, Honors pre-calc= A, Honors Algebra II= B.

Waiting until March 30th is gonna be horrible but best of luck to you!
