SAT: 660 Reading
650 Math
670 Writing

ACT: 31

GPA: 3.444
taken 10 APs

Played JV basketball and ran track
in a couple of clubs (interact, s.a.d.d.)

I think i got deferred due to my low ass GPA since my other scores are near the middle 50% of first years. what are my chances at regular?

You should have a very good chance at regular decision. Make sure that your essays are great and that your teacher rec’s are good. Stay positive while working on Part II. Best of luck to you!

It is amazing how important GPA is to UGA.

wow…you are so similar to me. only that my GPA is 3.7 unweighted, probably 3.9/4.0 weighted.
we have the same ACT score. you scored 10 points higher than me in the SAT ( CR + Math 1310, writing 660). We have the same amount of AP classes. We both are in track ( varsity?), but i on the varisity swim team instead of jv basketball, but that doesn’t matter much. Also in small clubs, only other big one is Student Council. oh, and I have volunteered 100 hours.
but either way…we are so similar.
oh I got in early btw, so i think you have a pretty good shot.

yes, what probably hurt you EA was your GPA. You should have a relatively decent chance at RD with those SAT scores.
