Got in, but no money

<p>I got accepted (from Maryland), but I cannot afford to go because they barely offered me any aid. I don't even think I'll visit because it just costs too much money in comparison to the full ride I'm getting from University of Maryland College Park, which is a bit disappointing because I really liked Rice from what I've read and the conversations with people who go there. </p>

<p>Does anyone know if there's an appeals process for aid? I know I won't get too much more, but I guess it's worth a shot.</p>

File reviews are carried out with great care and under the guidance of the Office of Financial Aid’s upper administration. If you are unhappy with the results of a review, you can request that an administrative committee additionally review the file. However, in very rare circumstances does that committee recommend changes to the review response prepared by the Office of Financial Aid Review Committee.
