Just got in on appeal to UCSC. Now just waiting for davis and SB

Congratulations!

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S !

this just shows that appealing some decisions can lead to some good consequences!

Congratulations! Was UCSC one of your top choices?

I'm waiting to hear from UCLA, UCB, UCD, and UCSB. UCSD said no to my appeal because I didn't have enough points in the initial application round for my appeal to even be considered. Pfft. It's ok. Who needs them? :P And if I don't get into any of the other UCs I appealed to, I'll be happy with going to UCR and transferring in two years to another UC (like UCLA, which was my first choice). I understand that transferring from a CC is said to be easier, but I don't want to miss out on the dorm experience freshman year. I'll just have to work hard to transfer to somewhere else.

Anyway, congratulations again on your appeal to UCSC going through! And I wish you luck on the other two appeals. :)

Curious to know: What was the basis for your appeal?

Congrats Bimmerdriver.

I read your original post some time back. As it seems at that time you did not have any new information to report in your appeals, may I conclude that your letters of recommendation did the trick?

do they e-mail it? or send it in the mail?

Congratulations!!

How do you appeal? Is there a form, I'm thinking about doing it for University of MD.
