Got in to UCI

I just received my acceptance to UCI online today, so it looks like they made decisions for transfers. They chose my alternate major due to not enough prerequisites, so instead of econ i'm in international studies. Can I still go to business school with a international studies major? can I try to get a dual degree with econ next year? and what exactly do international studies major do?

Congrats!

I am a transfer student too, but the status is the same for me...no change.

congratulations

congratulations!

Congratulations, cc_gwc! Good for you!

btw, cc_gwc... try the Business School forum http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14 you might get more responses there regarding international studies for pre-business school. hope this helps!

congrats...

i wouldn't congrat you cuz i know you would get in even before you announced it:)

haha funny guy! but man I would be really worried if I got rejected from UCI cause that means you need a higher gpa than a 3.5 good luck to all!

cc_gwc wat was ur gpa?

My gpa including the fall was 3.53

cool, good luck

cc_gwc which prerequisites were u missing?

I really don't know, I looked at all the prerequisities on ASSIST.ORG but I really can't find any that I missed. 3 of the Prereq's is currently in progress, so I don't know if I was suppose to finish them before applying or what not. I'm probably going to call, but only if I end up transfering there. Won't know for sure till I get my letters from ucla, ucb, ucsd, and usc.

if they are in progress they can't be missing....the rule is to finish them all before the fall you go in...that summer doesn't count
