Mmmm.....I got into this school last year without applying.....So tasty. Too bad I went to a different school instead.

Any idea how that managed to happen? Do you have family affiliated with the school?

that happened to me last year too. Manhattanville College sent me an acceptance letter when i was still a JR. Talk about odd.

what school did you go to instead?

You're full of it.

I agree with Blah.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I should not read CC posts while drinking water -- because it just came out of my noise. I'm glad it was just water...

Those people from Brown are so funny...

Sorry I just got back from school. Hadn't logged in for a while. I'm not exactly sure how it happened. Originally I was going to apply, so I sent in the common app, but after I visited i decided it wasn't for me. So I never did the large supplement, and I sent in a letter saying I rescind my applicationg. Well come decision day, I get an acceptance email. It was pretty crazy

I'm at Brown btw

booo brown.

US news and world report has Hopkins 13th in the country for undergraduate universities.

Brown is 15th.

Well, then, you didn't get in "without applying," did you? And, yes, it is too bad for you that you went to a lower ranked school. Oh well, we all make mistakes.

Let's not start a Brown v. Hopkins thread...they are both excellent schools. And seriously anyone who puts weight on how schools are ranked by USNWR is not that knowledgable about choosing the right undergraduate school.

catsrus9 -- you did apply...so your original post was not true and really what was the reason for the post.

Enjoy Providence.

Actually one of my best friends goes to JHU. I have nothing against it. It's just not for me. And hopefully you realize that choosing a college should be based on where you feel most comfortable, and not which school is ranked higher by USNWR
