Hi guys,

I received my decision about two weeks ago. Here is the problem, I applied as an undecided, but after filling out my mid-term grade report (they requested this) I felt that I had a strong chance at SOM (which was my true intentions since I'm an accounting major) so I e-mailed them saying I want to change my status as "undecided" to "accounting". However, they didn't, consequently I was accepted as an undecided in harpur.

I currently attend st. johns, I dislike it here, I would strongly prefer to dorm, and the tuition increased even more. However if I were to leave for the Spring semester, I need to take and excel in Micro-econ / Calc (as I've already taken macro economics) in order to be considered for SOM, furthermore, an intra-transfer is notoriously difficult. But something to consider is that they have a 4 course schedule... taking micro/calc + 2 general ed courses might be manageable.

OR my last resort, stay in St. John's another semester as I have a 3.94 this semester (2.67, 3.6 for my first two semesters) and finish next semester with moreorless the same GPA (I am taking calc and micro econ next sem) and apply directly to SOM.

I would apply as a incoming JR with 57 credits and 2.67-3.60-3.94-3.9(estimate) GPA, along with "highly preferred" courses such as - micro/macro econ and calc (all A's)

PLEASE let me know what you think. As always, thank you!
