Got into CC and want to take classes at both CC and SEAS or Vice Versa?

So just say hypothetically, I get into CC or SEAS and I want to take classes/major in both the schools. Is that possible?

You need to stay 5 years to major in both schools-- you'd need to complete the core for each school and the major requirements for both majors.

There's no such thing as CC classes: SEAS and CC students take science and humanities classes together. On the other hand, CC students can take engineering classes if they meet the prereqs.

So... what's the difference between CC and SEAS? like in terms of prestige and acceptances?

Um, the odds are you aren't going to get into either. Do a frigging search or do some research, dude. But in a nutshell, do you want to be an engineer? If not, then don't apply to SEAS.

Both are prestigious but they have different applications. If you want to work in applicable sciences or any field that ends in "engineering" then SEAS is best.

Honestly though, there is sufficient literature on Columbia's own website to answer this question. If you are really interested in Columbia I would read that site page by page to get an idea of what you will be committing to.
