This post isn’t for me to brag, but rather to remind you guys that test scores aren’t everything. 2 months ago, I decided to apply ED to Emory with mixed responses from this forum and my guidance counselor. Nevertheless, I applied anyway and I was admitted to both Atlanta and Oxford campuses.

I don’t have any significant awards, nor top notch ECs. I think my essays got me in. My personal essay was about milk. It’s weird, but it worked! Maybe they also saw me as someone who can contribute to diversity, as I’m originally from the Philippines and I speak 3 languages. I moved to the states five years ago.
