Hey everyone I'm new to the boards. Today I opened my mailbox and have never felt such anxiety in my life. As I saw the big envelope I immediately knew. The past seven years of dreaming had finally paid off and I was accepted to the GSP program (originally applied to CAS). Here are my Stats and good luck to all of you!!

SAT I: 1300 (660 Math, 640 Verbal)
SAT IIs: Writing 640, Math IC 670
GPA: 4.0 weighted, 3.8 unweighted
I attend an extremely tough boarding school in PA and have only taken 2 AP courses in the past 4 years (AP Art History and AP Environmental Science)
ECs: Cross County (4 years), Track and Field (2 years), Student Government (Director of Student Activities), School Ambassador (3 years), Class One Act Play (2 Years), Model UN (2 years), Ultimate Frisbee Club (2 years), WMER (School Radio) Director of Publicity (1 year)

Had good essays and teacher recs. I hope to see you all next year, this has been my dream forever I can't believe I'm in!!!

Does anyone know if applicants accepted for the GSP program have a binding agreement to go there if they return the form saying they want a formal admission?

hey balletomane, if you returned that form, it IS binding. and is it just me, or are most GSPers missing the financial aid offer from their packet?

The financial aid estimate is not given with the GSP offer, as it is explained on the official NYU admissions website. They send it with the formal admission. Hmmm...I've been hearing a lot of second hand information that GSP is not binding, but I'm not sure what to trust.
