Applied mid-September
1510 SAT
4.3 GPA
What a great football game on saturday too!

When did you get your admissions decision?

The letter was dated October 26th; I received it friday

thats cool. I sent mine out the end of september. I'm just waiting for the letter to come in.

Congratulations. I hope you join us!

Thank you very much for your warm invitation into Michigan, Alexandre.

how much financial aid are you getting per year? are you instate or out of state?

i am out of state, i have not found out about honors or financial aid yet. still enjoying my acceptance and partying lol

Buckwald, I would not worry too much about the Honors college. You will be invited to it...trust me. A 1400 score on the SAT is good enough for an invitation, but a 1500+ is a virtual guarantee. As far as aid goes, it really depends. I hope you get what you want and chose Michigan! Go Blue Baby!!!

Hey-- Mich said that they receieved everything from my application on October 28th... when do you think I'll hear? Ahhh!!! ;)

My guess would be Late November, Early December. Definitely before Winter Break!

Quick question:
Some posters have indicated that in addition to receiving an e-mail stating that their application had been received and was complete, they also received a separate (later) e-mail stating that their application was being reviewed. Just curious as to whether every applicant gets one of the latter e-mails. In other words, if your e-mail states that your application has been received and/or is complete, but you don't receive a subsequent e-mail stating that it's being reviewed, does that mean your application is not yet a part of any of the application batches being reviewed?

Yay! I got in too. Got my letter today, sent my app right around Oct. 8th.

:)

(BTW- Out of stater, 1500 SAT, 3.97 GPA)

Just got Michigan Honors Invite in mail today!

Do you think a 33 on the ACT and 3.7 are good enough for the honors college? Probably not.. but it would be pretty cool.
