Hi. I had a choice between csun and csulb. I decided to attend csun but at the last minute changed my mind (today). I payed the deposit down on both colleges to begin with. Earlier today, I got a message from this lady who works at csulb saying that I had not applied for orientation or notified them I was taking early start math and that I needed to call ASAP. Unfortunately I didn't here this message until later on today and by the time I checked my email it said they revoked my acceptance because I didn't notify them I was taking the early start course by July 1. I left the woman who called a message saying I still want to attend and that I am taking the early start course. Idk what to do. I'm so scared because I do not want to attend csun and I'm not sure if they'll take me back now.

??? That alone goes against the vast majority of colleges and what you agree to when you pay a deposit. Many colleges will revoke admission if they find out someone has double deposited. Your final decision of 1 college was supposed to have been made by May 1st.

Is your original first choice still an option? If so, I’d stay with it. Otherwise, you can call, but don’t get your hopes too high. It will depend upon how many students they have and what they are feeling at the time. If they need students, you may get lucky. If they have too many, I doubt it. If you get someone who is annoyed that you double deposited, you’re definitely out of luck.
