<p>So apparently when i submitted my SIR i thought i was finished with it when i actually wasn't. According to the admissions office i forgot to pay my $250 deposit by the deadline and therefore i don't get to go to UCSC anymore. This is a bit distressing for a number of reasons one of them being, my to-do-list on my student portal says everything is completed. Right now i'm appealing for readmission. What are your takes on this? What are my chances of readmission?</p>

<p>well i thought i had completed the part that had the deadline of May 1 way back in the beginning of April, and no i didnt send in a check nor do i remember seeing anything about a deposit even though i check my portal daily. what section was it under?</p>

<p>$100 for statement of intent to register (SIR) and $150 for housing fee.</p>
<p>Just call up the admissions office and ask them directly. I really don’t think you need to appeal.</p>
