Two of my friend's who never even studied for APUSH made a 4. I made a 5 with basically no work. I wouldn't say its hard.

We're glad for you Cassiodorus, but I don't think that's the purpose of this thread.

:)

Well, I was responding to the comment about APUSH being one of the harder tests.

I still havent received my scores yet...I dont think I can handle the suspense much longer....:( I took the USH and art history test....and I am really worried about the art history one....I kind just made up my essays....

Where are you interested in going to school? Take a look at what an acceptable score is for each school and then go from there. For the most part, I think there are a lot of inflated scores on this board!

I proudly accept my 1 for ap psych. Who cares, college is next month for me. =]

i heard you could get a 1 just by putting your name on the test paper.

if you get a negative score you get a star.

yeah i heard that you get a 1 just for putting your name on the test

Gosh, I don't know what happened haha: i got a 2 on English Lit/Composition. I don't really remember my thoughts while I was taking the exam, like whether I was tired or just didn't know the material...ergh.

On the other hand, I received a 5 on the IB HL English Exam. So...shrug

Wait, you can (or are) taking both AP and IB? I didn't know you could do that.

:)

Lol, well I am in IB, but we're still allowed to take AP exams if we want to. I was in one AP class this year: Computer Science, but there was no way I was going to take the AP exam for that, haha.

eva- finally someone who is willing to accept a 1. I got a 1 too in macroecon. We are certified geniuses.
I am fairly happy with my 3 though in enviro sci. which is another rarity on this board-- ppl satisfied with a 3.

ryan, integ and ultima you are all right. If you just put your name on the test, you don't gain any points, but you don't lose any points either- thus ur score is 0 and a 0 equals a 1. However, if you are totally clueless about the test and are brave enough to try the questions (and get 'em all wrong), you lose a fraction for each question and don't gain anything. In this case, you have a negative score and you get a star (basically a thanks for trying, but you realllyyy suck kind of thing).

i am satisfied with a 3...ap human geography..............like some other poster on this thread, I also made a 2 on ap art history

4 on AP Lang & Comp (not surprising, I spent only and hour and fifteen on the essay), 5 on US History.

To the thread starter, be happy with the 3 and do better on Calc BC next year.

aselig01 - cuz in 5-10 years, what I got isn't important anymore. =]

Sorry if I offended anyone by saying AP Art History was an easier class/exam. It's just that the AP AH teacher at our school is very good, and kids consider his class to be the easiest AP class to take, and usually kids do extremely well on the exams.

I know what it's like to get a "2." I got a 2 in AP German (as did several other kids in my class). Happily, I got 4/5 in everything else though.

trust me, art history is the hardest AP exam in terms of what you're expected to know. remember, you're covering over 22,000 years of history, and still expected to know what a kylix is.

In my Calculus class, most people had 1's and 2's, there was one 3, and I had a 4. So, it's definitely not uncommon. Heck, I got a 2 in microecon this year and I laughed and laughed over it. I took that class first semester, forgot everything, never looked at the stuff again, and then wrote letters to the readers during the free response. I thought for sure I'd get a 1! :) Oh well, I'm not taking any econ in college so it doesn't matter. Anyway, don't sweat it.

By the way, eva...5-10 years?!?!? Gosh, my scores already don't matter. I'm going to college! Who needs AP anymore???

I took the the 04-05 AP calc AB, US history, and Bio and got all 5's on them. I was quite surprised as none of my friends got similar results and they are by far smartert than me. Now i gotta get ready for Ap chem, physics, BC, and stat. :( . meh
