Hi I’m OOS and got accepted to IU on 10/31 and am a DA to Kelley. I did not receive any scholarship information in my acceptance letter and I am very confused. I was sure that I would at least get some sort of merit aid from IU. My SAT is a 1530 and my ACT is a 35. Is there something I forgot to do or is this just how it works? Thanks
Scholarship information usually comes separately. You will definitely get at least the 11k per year Dean’s scholarship. Look for an invitation for the SSA, which allows you to apply for more scholarships.
Our Dean’s Scholarship information came with our acceptance letter. We are OOS with an SAT lower than yours (1480). I think there were 2 letters in the packet, so make sure you read the second letter.
@WizKid123 those are stellar test scores. I assume you have the gpa requirement. If you turned in your application before the published deadline for maximum scholarship consideration then it’s worth a call to find out what happened. If you missed the published deadline, you may have missed out on the Deans and provost awards. Did you get the SSA invitation yet?
@TheFrenchChef I only received the admissions letter that I got accepted and a brochure
@prep4col I turned in my application in October so I think I should be considered for maximum scholarship. I will make a call to find out then and no I have not received the SSA invitation yet
@iubaccounting I received my acceptance letter in the mail about 3 weeks ago. Do you know the approximate timeline for the scholarship information? And also I saw a lot of people already got the SSA invitation, but I haven’t. I’m wondering if this is normal or not. Thanks!
I’m currently a senior at IU, so it’s been awhile since I’ve been through this process. I would call the office of scholarships and ask any questions you have.
