Got my junior year transcript, what are my chances?

I'm a Indian male who just completed my Junior year in high school, in California.

I am hoping to apply to a UC for a degree in science, related to biology or biotech or biochem or something in that field, I'm not sure yet. I may also want to go on to a medical school after 4 years.

My transcript is:
9th grade -
Alg 2 - A-/B
Biology H - A/A-
English 1 H - B+/A-

11th grade -

Academic GPA is 3.56 weighed, 3.38 nonweighted
Total GPA is 3.61/3.44
10-12 GPA is 3.50/3.23

Which one of these GPAs will UC admissions look at? What schools are my grades competitive for? Which UCs do I even have a chance at?

For my SAT, I got 2220. 700 CR, 780 Math, 740 Writing (Essay score 8)
(I will retake this in October, hopefully to improve)

I took the Math SAT II, but only got 690 on that.
I took the Biology M SAT II and Physics on June 2011.

I took the AP tests for all of my APs, dont know their scores yet.

I have a Black Belt in Karate and have been doing that for more than 5 years.
I participated in the debate team in my school.
I also have around 20-30 volunteer hours, and am planning on doing 100+ this summer.
I also got selected for the first round of NMSQT selection, but I don't know if I will receive the letter of commendation or go on to the next rounds.

What advice can you helpful people offer me? What UCs do I have a chance at? What other colleges and universities should I be looking at? Thank you all for helping out.

You will clearly qualify for admission to “a” UC, see [University of California - Admissions index](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/california-residents/admissions-index/index.html) Riverside is usually the one that any one who UC qualifies can get into; UCLA and Berkeley followed by SD are usually the hardest to get into and for those your test score is good but grades are medicocre; for the rest your chances are better although likely higher at Merced and SB.

Thanks drusba.

What are my chances if I want to get into UC Davis, or Irvine, or Santa Barbara. Should I consider UCSC a safety or a match?
My GPA has been mediocre, but I did try to take challenging and difficult courses which were offered at my school.

Do you know which GPA they look at (weighted or unweighted?, academic gpa, total gpa, 10-12 gpa?)
How are the other aspects?

Your grades in math/science courses aren’t bad, but may be significantly lower than other students who are applying to colleges and have designated science as their potential majors.

Would it be better to apply as undeclared, or as a general science major and later on switch or specify which field I would like to major in?

Overall though, what kind of chances do I have for UC’s. I know I can get into A UC, but how about mid-level ones like UCSC, Davis, Irvine, SB?
San Diego is a reach, and Berkeley and LA are probably out of the question.

But how are my chances at these middle-tier UC’s?

What out of state universities should I look at?

Thanks so much.

thanks dulcecab13. I just copied my question from here, so it might be a little long, and you can edit out some stuff like all of the courses in my GPA, but I do appreciate any and every advice relating to college.
