<p>It is our great pleasure to inform you that you have been chosen as a finalist for a merit-based scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As one of 120 students selected out of a pool of more than 17,000 applicants, you have distinguished yourself in one of the most rigorous admissions competitions in the country. </p>

<p>We hope that you will plan to join us on Friday, March 21 for Scholarship Day, a special event for merit-based scholarship candidates. Click here for additional information about the event.</p>

<p>Please log into MyCarolina to RSVP by Friday, March 14.</p>

<p>I too got that email. I applied regular decision, but when you follow one of the links, you find out that the event is only for accepted students; I assume that means I was accepted. In any case, see you on the 21st of this month!</p>

Anyone know any information about the scholarship process this year? None of my friends have heard anything yet. :slight_smile:
