Got shirt?

I hope mine comes soon. I, for one, am glad it's white...I already have a navy Yale t-shirt (long sleeved) and am getting a navy hooded sweatshirt, so this will add some variety...

My best friend who got in received TWO shirts! And I still don't have one... She offered me one of hers, but it's just not the same lol. Ahhhh Yale! I want my shirt!

How did she get 2???? LOL

because she's just that special.

D received shirt on Saturday. Came via regular mail. Included a window sticker.

uh maybe i'm missing half a brain or something, but i was just wondering - do RD acceptees also get the complimentary shirt? or is it just for those ultra-devoted EA kids?

Is it a white t-shirt with big bold blue letters spelling YALE?

I got two as well. My mom has claimed the second one.

it's white with a small blue bulldog on the front left pocket (same as car decal). there's a HUGE, blue 'Y' on the back. kind of intimidating.... hehe

It's this version of the bulldog: http://www.vincasa.com/yaleicon1.jpg
Personally, I thought the shirt was kinda ugly, but it will do until ivysport finally has my size sweatshirt in stock. :)

Yeah I would have just sent you the standard shirts with the big bold YALE on front. It's all that needs to be said.

LOL yeah....I would have prefered that too

until ivysport finally has my size sweatshirt in stock

You can always buy a sweatshirt from the Yale Bookstore Online..
http://yale.bkstore.com/default.asp?m=0302&cat_id=6

Thanks for the link, but I have a friend who's visiting Yale next weekend, and she's agreed to buy one for me. That way I can save the eight bucks or so on shipping.

And my personal theory on the shirts is that Yale couldn't sell them because they're kinda ugly, so they turned them into a marketing tool. :)

I got my shirt a little while ago... it's too big :(.

I really recommend www.ivysport.com for yale stuff. Their stuff is quality :)

I got mine Tuesday and wore it yesterday. :) I like the shirt, although the sleeves are a little long...

Hey, newt...mine was too big too....someone mentioned before we could try to get a smaller size.....do you think it is worth a shot?

Just wash it (warm cycle) a few times.. hehe. Or ask your mom to (enjoy it while it lasts, you may be on your own in the laundry room next year!)

Hehe, I had this one shirt for jazz band that looked like a tent on me but couldn't get shrinking-it-with-warm-water thing to work. Do you have to do that when a shirt is new, or would it still work after you're washed it a few times? Any details that I might've neglected in the process?
