We did access a book that was published for the 75th anniversary of Rice. It was full of photographs beginning with the construction of Lovett Hall as it rose from the prairie. Downtown Houston was not yet in existance. They went to all the great schools and stole away their minds. Harvard, Cambridge, you name it. It might be difficult to get such a book without going to a small town Texas library, but what have you googled? This might be a helpful passtime for you.

Wow, I know exactly what book you're talking about. It has interesting pictures. My school library happened to have it.

do you have a title or author for that book? i'd like to see it.

I can get the info tomorrow at school if ricemom2009 doesn't get it before then.

thanks!!!!

no problem. :)

riceowlgirl: you are so funny and bubbly : ) when you're not so freaked out about this admissions game....I hope I'll meet you sometime if we both end up at Rice.
