Got waitlisted to UCSD but rejected to UCSB

<p>Who else got waitlisted to UCSD? Also, I find it weird that UCSB, a UC with a higher acceptance rate than UCSD (around the 40%s) , rejected me, but UCSD, with an acceptance rate of around 30%s, waitlisted me. I half thought that it would be the other way around. </p>

<p>I got accepted into Riverside (really easy I know.) What are my chances at Irvine? </p>

<p>I swear, this decision for UCSD and UCSB is so weird…</p>

<p>It isn’t that weird, the make decisions separately. I know people who already got UCI acceptance, are they still issuing them?</p>
