gotta love gym finals

Wow. In our gym class about 60% of the time we have a study hall. Then when we do things, we play for like 15 minutes and then have a study hall. Or when the weather is nice, our activity is "walking" to a local coffee shop. And if anyone has to finish a paper or something, she'll let you go to the library.

Perhaps the best thing about gym class is the beautiful cache of candy in my teacher's office which we can buy for a dollar each. The money benefits the athletic department. It's a sweet deal!

What is pickleball?

at my Ds school the girls gym teacher gives really tough tests, the boys gym teacher....well, not so tough....why the disparity?

Pickleball is like tennis, but played on a badminton court. The rules are basically the same but you use a paddle and a plastic ball. It is awesome (but I may be biased since I LOVE tennis and pickleball)!

Damn, all we do is come in 10 minutes late to class, play a game for 5-10 minutes, then leave. Guaranteed A+, except our gym doesn't count for our GPA.

pickleball! <3

Does anyone else besides me love gym class?

wow... your gym classes are so much awesomer/easier than mine

For me, just "participating" guarantees a free A

we had a final freshman year (the only year we have to take PE, I'd take more if I had room in my schedule) where we had to run the mile, the shuttle run, pushups, pullups, situps, and sit and reach. Supposedly, each part was worth a number of points and your grade depended on how you did. Your worst score was dropped. I made an A anyways, but I'm pretty sure the teacher gave some help to those who didnt.
