I need to decide on my top 7 independent colleges. Please give me some input on which ones are good matches/safeties/reaches thanks!

Schools: (Top 3 choices: USC, Boston University, New York University), Boston College, Cornell (dream), Fordham, George Washington University, UCB, UCLA, UC Davis, Irvine, Santa Barbra, UT Austin, Tulane, Penn State, and any others you might suggest..east coast schools preferred!

side note: I was thinking about majoring in Psychology. I was hoping that it isn't such an impacted major and might improve my chances than putting bio or chem. Suggestions about other majors are welcome. thanks.
