<p>My mother worked for the state of TN and she explained to me that the people on the families first program all had jobs. they just weren't jobs that would balance with the cost of living. some of them are trying so hard to make it they have exhausted themselves in the struggle. Our gov, is here to help us,why not have the citizens of our great nation help one another? what's wrong with people having the courtesy of helping their "fellow American"? Either Rockefeller, or Morgan, or one of the other big business leaders of the latter half of the 1800's worked hard all of his life, achieved a large some of money, and then worked even harder at giving it away, why are people so selfish? A friend of mine is always talking about how he wished the people of America had a little bit more pride in their country. He also complains about welfare programs, this thread has made come to the conclusion that if the people of America could have some help from America, maybe they would be more excited about the country they live in.</p>
