Governor Corbett blasts Penn State

1moremom: I don’t think the poll represented actual PA voters but instead the broader group of PA “residents”. Election history has clearly shown that there are major differences in political opinions between the following:
PA residents
PA residents that are registered voters
PA residents that are registered voters AND actually vote

There wasn’t enough information in the link you provided to determine how impartially the survey was conducted or whether there were any geographical restrictions for the polling survey.

The link was provided because the article you quoted was from the “Commentary” section of a liberal urban newspaper that endorsed both Gov Corbett’s opponent and the Democrat running for US Senate.

Ah, my mistake. I pulled that up looking for the poll results which I had seen elsewhere; it is not a paper I read. It did, however, state that “Last week a survey by Franklin and Marshall College found . . .”.

The F&M polls can be found here-- [The Franklin & Marshall College Poll — Franklin & Marshall](Franklin & Marshall - The Franklin & Marshall Poll Results)
Re: Methodology-- “represent the responses of 521 adult residents of Pennsylvania, including 420 registered adults (178 Democrats, 169 Republicans, 59 registered as Independent/Other, and 14 who refused to identify party).” No way to know if they voted, but hopefully if they are displeased enough they will vote next time.

We are in agreement.
I would also like to add that if they can’t be bothered dragging their posteriors to the voting polls then they should accept that they are getting the politicians they deserve.

Unfortunately, we’re all gettin’ 'em.
