I was just curious...

How do you apply...and is it hard to get in?
As in, is it presitigous? compared to tasp and rsi

Thanks!

Coming from NJ, the NJ Governor's School is very well respected and to get in you need a teacher's reccomendation and then you apply and they look at your stats and admit or deny you based on your stats, essays, etc.

TASP and RSI are more prestigous though.

hmm..what do u mean by teacher's recommendation? do u ask them, or do they just choose some students and do it?

At our school, typically teachers choose to 'nominate' you. You can make it work the other way around of course and ask a teacher that adores you to nominate you. This is how it works at our school, not sure about yours (this may be a private 'screening' so that only our best actually apply)
