When's a good time to mail the Qualified Withdrawl form to the scholarshare trust so that they will send the check to UCLA? Will the check be automatically sent to my BAR account? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, its not that easy. If you wanted your scholarship to be used for this year, you probably should've sent your form to the Scholarshare Trust already. I mean, on top of snail mail, it has to go through a lot of processing before it reaches its final destination - UCLA's FinAid office. And even then, you won't get your check right away. You'll be sent a new EFAN before you see any money from it and then, after you accept, you should (assuming that you'd have a part of it going towards you fees for fall quarter) see a change in your BAR account.

I sent in my thing last month, and it only took TWO weeks to go through, even though they said it would take eight. I had to confirm it on my efan, which took like 5 minutes, then they just deducted $1,000 from my fall bill. It was incredibly easy and fast.

Just thought I'd share my experiences. I'd send the forms in right away if I were you.

thx. I'll send in mine this weekend.

Yea my experience is similar to what nobleguy05 posted. download form, send, get new eFAN, confirm, and for me, the money came back on bruin direct because ... i think i had either paid already or financial aid was covering my tuition.
