Hey guys,

I was wondering about applying to NC Governor's School in the summer and is deciding on which school / area to apply to. I am asian so I think it might be difficult for me to get into math, but I am always good at math:
1. I scored in the 99.9th percentile in the math portion of the SAT in 7th grade.
2. Im in IB HL 1 (= AP AB Calc) in my sophomore year
3. Have never gotten below a 95 in any math class.

The reason why it is difficult for math people (asians) to get in is because of the diversity at NC (or any) Governor's School.

I am somewhat good at Spanish, but not entirely. It is a good chance for me at a different language when the admissions officer is looking at my app.
