Governor's School (STEM program) or IB?

Which one do you think is better for me if i want to major in Mathematics.
Does going to Governor's School helps me to get into colleges??

I can only speak for IB (I don’t know anything about STEM :stuck_out_tongue: ). You want to major in Mathematics? then you go for IB HL…take the full Diploma course (6 subjects, and Extended Essay, and Theory of Knowledge)…the 6 subjects have to include at least 1 natural science (i.e. biology, physics, chemistry, or environmental), 1 social science (economics, geography, Business Management, or History), 1 native tongue language, 1 foreign language, 1 math (math Higher Level, Further Maths, Math Standard Level, or Math Studies) and 1 more subject that includes arts, music, or drama (you can substitute this either for another natural science class, or a social science class)…you can make an appeal to your school’s IB coordinator to substitute the last subject (if you don’t want another natural or social science) into another math class…if you can only get one, take Math Higher Level, if you can get two, take Further Math & Higher Level…don’t forget to say to your coordinator the reasons why you want to take 2 math classes (i.e. you want to major in math)…and just for the record, Further Math is way, way harder than Higher Level…it’s just sad that Further Math is branded as a Standard Level. Therefore, there are a possibility that universities will regard Higher Level as a “better” course than Further Math…so please, if you can only get one math class…take Higher Level

Good Luck :)

If Governor’s school is particularly strong in math, do that. IB isn’t, and the intense work demands in other subjects are very very taxing.
